batman arkham city

Several stores are running decent bonuses for pre-orders. Amazon as usual has one of the best deals. Amazon is offering $10 off credit for a future purchase and a free Arkham City comic which is an Amazon.com exclusive.

Best Buy has some of the most digital content for the game. They are offering a Robin Character for challenge maps, and the Black Mask Hideout. Gamers also get the Freight Train Escape Challenge Maps. Robin comes complete with his own unique gadgets and special moves, and will be playable in all challenge maps in the game, as well as two additional challenge maps that are included with the pack. The pack will also contain a bonus Red Robin character skin. If you like Robin and want to mix it up on the challenge maps this might be the place to pre-order.

Gamestop is offering a challenge map, a skins, and some digital media. The challenge map is the Joker’s Carnival and from what I’ve seen it looks like fun. Gamestop will also give you a digital copy of Batman: Gotham Knight. That’s a little different of a pre-order bonus, and its a decent movie. Finally, if gamers use their power up reward cards to pre-order, GameStop will give you an exclusive Batman Animated Series Suit.

A few of the stores are offering just one item. Order from Newegg.com and they will give you a T-shirt. Toys “r” Us will give gamers who pre-order there a 1970s Batman skin to use in game. Kmart is throwing in a free T-shirt and offering a $30 coupon during the first week the game is out.

Walmart has one of the better deals. They are giving people who pre-order a $10 Walmart e-gift card. Lucky people who also pre-order from Walmart also get a free copy of Batman: Arkham Asylum Game of the Year Edition Game. $10 back and a free game, count me in, that is a great bonus.

It looks like Walmart and Gamestop give gamers the most content. Although Amazon and Walmart give gamers money back. I’d say it looks like Walmart is the winner hands down. Oddly enough since I have a $30 gc it will make the deal even sweeter. But in the end it depends on where you prefer to shop.
